The Principal - Investor Relations will be responsible for providing thoughtful, timely and accurate updates to shareholders, the Board of Directors, executive leadership and business partners. This role is an integral part of the Investor Relations team and will interact with all aspects of the business.


The services to be performed by the Principal shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Prepare earnings scripts, earning releases and press releases
  • Develop value-added content in investor presentations and related parties; assist with presentation design
  • Track, analyze and communicate peer earnings and news, providing timely updates to the executive management team
  • Track, analyze and communicate analyst reports, analyst models and earnings consensus, and provide timely updates to executive management team
  • Coordinate and document investor calls, investor meetings, non-deal roadshows and financial conferences
  • Create, enhance and maintain investor presentations, marketing materials, Investor Relations website content and fact sheets
  • Conduct market research on industry trends
  • Provide ad-hoc investment analysis as needed

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.  An MBA or advanced degree and/or equivalent financial services company experience is highly desirable. CFA/CPA or progress towards preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Investor Relations or in the financial services industry (preferably buy-side or sell-side analyst)
  • 2+ years investment experience in the mortgage industry, fixed income and related financial markets is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
  • Expert proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is required and some knowledge of Investor Relations applications (Bloomberg/IPREO/IR Insight).
  • CFA/CPA or progress towards preferred.
