Mr. Cooper earns fees through the delivery of quality servicing, origination and transaction based services principally related to single-family residences throughout the United States. Mr. Cooper provides services and solutions to homeowners, home buyers, home sellers, investors and other real estate market participants.

This position is responsible for directly assisting prospects in the mortgage inquiry process of home buying, selling, and refinancing. You are responsible for various lead generation activities, including answering inbound calls from a variety of lead sources; and outbound calling to support numerous marketing campaigns. Full effort will be put into providing world class customer service to prospects, including education and guidance on the mortgage inquiry process. You will build, work directly with, and manage strong relationships with licensed loan officers (Mortgage Professionals) and potential customers. A close working relationship with a team oriented approach with fellow Sales Assistants, Management, Mortgage Professionals, and other departments within the Company is expected. Daily Job Duties Include:

  • Engage in comprehensive on the job training.
  • Able to work within set weekly and monthly schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Able to work within daily schedule, built around various inbound call and outbound call activity.
  • Field calls from various lead sources with a working knowledge of the various campaigns in order to drive a tailored customer experience.
  • Make outbound calls to numerous lead sources with a working knowledge of the various campaigns in order to drive a tailored customer experience.
  • Collecting and completing lead prospect information
  • Sell customers on the benefits of talking with a Mortgage Professional by understanding general Mortgage options that may be available to them.
  • Handle questions of many types from customers with the ability to direct the customer to the appropriate resource for resolution.
  • Willingness to take ownership of any customer escalation as the situation dictates thus ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Participating in staff and team meetings along with taking part in mortgage training provided by management.
  • Help improve quality and advancement of the team by assisting with the training of new and existing employees.
  • Meet production goals including inbound and outbound calls, activity time, and others as identified by your manager.
