The Product Manager for Mobile Apps is responsible for driving customer-facing projects for Mr Cooper’s suite of mobile products. This individual will also support in-depth business reviews, present to senior management, and support initiatives with our servicing, originations, marketing, and technology teams. The product manager must be able to work at the strategic level to drive ideas for growth and at the tactical level analyzing data and solving problems as they will monitor and drive the business on all aspects of demand, customer experience, and conversion. 

Responsibilities Include 
• Consult with Customers and business stakeholders to determine needs and identify new opportunities to improve the customer experience and drive competitive advantage 
• Continually monitor competition and industry developments to deliver mobile features that provide Mr Cooper customers with an exceptional experience 
• Drive the overall vision and functional capability roadmap for your area of responsibility 
• Effectively communicate the product vision to various stakeholders across the company 
• Define Epics and User Stories for delivery and test case traceability 
• Product functionality prioritization and backlog grooming 
• Responsible for operational readiness tasks and performs product demos to stakeholders 
• Work closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and business process uniformity of current and future state systems 
• Identify and assess value of technology licensing with new vendors to deliver on innovative customer experience features 

Core Competencies & Accomplishments 
• Relevant mobile product management experience with proven delivery of mobile consumer facing apps (iOS & Android). 
• Financial Services experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile technologies as well as mobile consumer usage and behaviors 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across groups, including UX design, development, and QA 
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results 
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, cross-collaboration and team skills 
• Knowledge of ecommerce business KPIs and technologies 
• Experience in using data to drive decision-making 
• Strong Experience in requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, and user stories in an enterprise environment 
• Proven analytical capability and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment! 
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies and ceremonies

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with web/mobile products in the consumer space 
  • Strong at defining product strategy 
  • Skilled at defining and prioritizing product features 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and lean methodology 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for teaching others 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making 
  • Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, and clients
