The Sr. Principal, OD and Leadership Development is responsible for the design, development and implementation of an enterprise-wide leadership development process.  This role will enhance and implement a comprehensive leadership development strategy and operational plan to ensure Mr. Cooper has the leadership capability to drive greater business   results and growth.  This role will evaluate learning solutions and measure the impact to refine and enhance future recommendations.  Additionally, this role will be responsible for classroom, eLearning, virtual and self-service delivery of solutions.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of OD & Employee Experience, the Senior Principal, OD & Leadership Development will work across multiple work groups on prioritized initiatives, comprising best-in-class research, methodologies and content for our individual, team, leader and organizational capabilities and be accountable for working with business leaders, HR business partners & learning teams to design and implement effective organizational plans/strategies to enhance organization and leadership capability. Duties may include design and oversight of the organizations short/long term learning and development strategy and curriculum, as well as the project management and implementation of corporate-wide strategic organizational initiatives to include: employee engagement surveys, leadership summits, delivery of leadership development training modules and change management initiatives, such as the Great Place to Work partnership.  


•         Partner with leaders and HR business partners to develop a forward-thinking strategy around the Mr. Cooper organizational DNA and talent development needs

•         Execute the leadership development strategy through a blend of classroom learning, onboarding, eLearning, experiential learning and other innovative practices

•         Work across boundaries to oversee implementation of full range organization-wide projects aligned to the organizational effectiveness to include learning & development, organizational capability

•         Project management of the Great Place To Work partnership

•         Lead and project manage enterprise-wide employee engagement survey and change management initiatives

•         Leverage business data, engagement/pulse surveys, direct employee feedback, and industry leading practices to influence our culture strategy, career management programs & practices and leadership development initiatives.

•         Accelerate change through applying change management concepts and methods to implement organizational strategies

•         Prioritize development focus areas by identifying contemporary development initiatives to strengthen leadership effectiveness at each level: new managers, mid-career and senior leaders

•         Partner with corporate marketing to create effective leadership and change management communication plans


•         Required:

o    BA/BS degree in related discipline: Human Resources, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology and/or equivalent practical experience

o    Minimum 10 years progressive human resources experience with  an emphasis on leadership, organizational development, learning and HR business partnership

o    Proven track record in designing and executing strategic, enterprise-wide learning solutions and experiences

o    Effective program and project management skills and/or PMP certified

o    Outstanding verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills.

o    Ability to build collaborative, trustworthy relationships

o    Vendor management skills including ability to influence and negotiate

o    Organizational astuteness and agility

o    Good coordination, analytical and deductive reasoning skills

o    Experience with learning platform technology and HR data analytics

o    Experience in creating influential executive leadership PowerPoint presentations

•         Preferred:

o    Experience in organizational development and/or organizational performance consulting

o    Proven track record of building credible relationships with training class participants and influencing leadership engagement in organizational development as a critical component to accomplishing business outcomes

o    Demonstrated success in building and implementing high quality development strategies and solutions, working across organizational boundaries, where needed

o    High degree of personal and professional credibility, including responsiveness, business focus, integrity, sound judgment, and ability to prioritize effectively across competing priorities

o    Strong understanding of HR and business practices; who understands what practices are unique differentiators vs.  pretty standard, what strategic purpose they serve in a company, how to measure their success.

Familiarity with Cornerstone and/or other related learning management systems
