Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead staff to meet and exceed company performance metrics and production goals
  • Responsible for motivating, directing and evaluating the work of Processing Managers
  • Plan and execute all phases of loan processing, including but not limited to: customer touchpoints, pipeline management, underwriting submission, clear to close, doc prep and funding conditions
  • Manage the team’s pipeline on a daily basis to address any aged files and provide guidance for escalated issues
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring to maintain staffing requirements
  • Work collaboratively with sales, underwriting, funding as well as other internal partners and third parties to efficiently fund compliant, saleable loans
  • Create and implement action plans and training regimens for continuous improvement based on production and compliance results, customer feedback, and regulatory audits

  • Education/Experience Requirements:


  • 8-10 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in processing positions

  • Minimum 5 years management experience in the mortgage industry, preferably overseeing a team of managers
  • Experience in FHA and Conventional forward mortgages a must; VA experience a plus
  • 5-10% travel is required for this position
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven track record of success training, motivating and developing a team
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State mortgage regulations with high level of expertise in TRIDS
