Responsibilities include resolving application issues originating from Production, configuring systems where needed.
You will use email and chat applications to give employees quick answers as part of troubleshooting application issues in production. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will liaison with application management team.
You will be responsible for documenting all received issues from Production with running log for future troubleshooting and may help create written instructions and technical manuals.
 
To be qualified for this role, you should have a minimum of 2 year work experience in supporting web applications.

 
Responsibilities:
 
Serving as the first point of contact for business seeking application production support assistance.
Performing troubleshooting through executing database queries, scripts, configurations.
Taking ownership of employee issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution of software  issues
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues including account setup and configuration
Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to management and development team
Ensure all issues are properly logged
Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
Maintain excellent working relationships with the business and development team
 
Qualifications:
 
2 years of experience in Application Support or related experience
Working in Mortgage domain will be a plus.
Experience in Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
 
Working knowledge/Experience:
A quick learner, can research/troubleshoot continuous flow of production tickets via Zen Desk
Applications utilizing SQL environments.
End-user application workflow mapping.
Participate in change control management.
Working knowledge of  Microsoft SQL Server, .Net
