This person is responsible for all of the daily workflow within the Escrow department.  This role will maintain responsibilities for the quality of all relevant functions within their sphere of influence.  Leadership, vendor oversight and compliance are key areas of responsibility.

Scope/Responsibilities: Operational oversight for multiple functions within the Escrow Administration area to be defined. Responsibilities include leading a department or departments dedicated to accurate and timely processing of customer/escrow transactions. Manages the customer experience, operating within budgetary guidelines, utilizing root cause analysis to effect process improvement and embracing the Six Sigma process improvement methodology. Works with multiple business partners to ensure service levels are optimized (Acquisitions, Account Services, Customer Care, Customer Relations, IT, Letters Management, etc.)Provides thought leadership and planning for areas of responsibility. Assists in developing budget for assigned area. Direct Report to SVP. Manages Manager and/or below Manager level resources. Responsible for medium and/or short term business entity planning and/or operational direction.


  • The essential functions of this role are to ensure that the escrow department is operating at 100% precision, and at an optimal servicing cost per loan.
  • Responsible for process improvements and automation of manual processes within the group. 
  • Manage compliance with multiple investor protocols, RESPA, and all state and federal regulations relating to the servicing of escrow accounts.
  • Responsible for managing and evaluating outsourcing vendors and maintaining their SLAs.


  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.  Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Proven experience in Senior Management within the Financial Services industry, specifically Mortgage Servicing.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience preferred. Financial and operational experience within loan administration or investor accounting preferred.
