The BI Developer is responsible for designing and developing data repositories for enterprise business operations to be used for providing business reporting and analysis. The BI Developer will support the analytics team by providing accurate, timely and relevant data to meet their diverse requirements. The BI Developer will also work closely with internal teams to support and build business insight tools. 

  • Apply data knowledge and analytic capabilities to facilitate strategic business decisions 
  • Leverage leading-practice data and analytical tools, modeling and techniques to solve business problems 
  • Build strong cross-organizational relationships, working with teams to better leverage data to gain business insights that influence business strategies around XOME products 
  • Create, support, and maintain regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards 
  • Applying best practices and modern techniques to improve existing schemas for performance and efficiency 
  • Involved in design and development of common global level reusable components and reports 
  • Develops relationships with the larger development teams that promote trust and increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in application validation and QA efforts as they pertain to reporting, data, metrics, and report creation and execution.

  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Math, Statistics, Engineering or related field
  • 1+ progressive years of experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics. Preferred experience in the real estate or mortgage industry.
  • 1+ progressive years of strong SQL scripting experience.
  • Progressive years must include strong experience in using any of the BI tools like SSRS, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI.
  • Clear understanding and proven experience in Data Warehouse technologies
  • Experience in managing data and analytics programs (people, process, tools) through the full lifecycle: strategic recommendation; design of experiments, testing, communication, pilot, implementation, etc. 
  • Working understanding of different data and analytical tools and how they are leveraged within an organization 
  • In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies and their application to business opportunities
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining formal documentation that describes the data and data structures including data modeling
  • Ability to work with senior technical and business resources providing technical guidance related to data architecture and governance
