Job Description Summary:

The Business Operation Analyst will support our Title365 and Xome IT Teams by providing the IT Infrastructure department with Business Analysis support.  Business Analysis support work includes financial oversight including spend review and reporting, order/licensing review and cleanup; as well as responsible for timely responses to IT compliance requests.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial oversight including spend review and reporting, product/licensing review and analysis to ensure appropriate spend for business needs.
  • Perform process improvement tasks including communicating with stakeholders for process analysis and mapping and working with stakeholders to update process for resource efficiency. 
  • IT compliance work involves being the liaison between IT and audit to respond to various compliance requests for clients, internal audit, and external third parties involved in compliance oversight.
  • Regular requests include documentation for SOX and SOC II.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance/Accounting, Business Analysis or another related field
  • Previous financial modeling/analysis experience which includes creating reports to display financial information used to aid in business decision making
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to analyze data to understand and make decisions that affect company wide applications
  • Ability to find cost saving opportunities by reviewing spend and process flows
  • Ability to review processes and design more effective workflows
  • Proficiency with MS Excel is required
  • Experience working in/with an IT department Preferred. Job requires the ability to understand complex IT related terminology
  • IT compliance experience including with SOX and SOC II is preferred
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to be self-taught especially when learning new processes or applications
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
