The Business Operations Analyst will lead the development and facilitation of User Acceptance Testing for a proprietary servicing system component being built by MrCopper.  This BA will play a key role working with both business operations and IT to ensure the application is working as expected and provides the functionality  intended to meet the business objectives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Works with LOB (line of business) and IT to facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Gains understanding of system design / functionality as described in stories / acceptance criteria.
  • Drafts / facilitates development of testing scripts for UAT.
  • Coordinates timing, locations, agendas and participants for UAT.
  • Tracks testing results in VSTS (system of record for Dev stories, QA, UAT).
  • Assist LOB in the creation of use cases / stories to address bug fixes / enhancements.
  • Work with project managers and stakeholders to track progress and help meet timelines.
  • Assist in the mapping of systems / data elements as applicable.
  • Assist with data conversions and other implementation steps as needed.
  • Assist in the design, creation, running reports as applicable.
  • Be proactive in suggesting improvements / enhancements.
  • Communicate gaps, potential delays and other risks as concerns are identified
  • Assemble and organize materials, documents, data as needed for system plans and specifications

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of testing / system deployment.
  • Mortgage Servicing Operations experience (min 2+ years);
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Access, Visio.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology and UAT.
