Intern Job Summary

The Mr. Cooper 12 week long Summer Internship Program provides real-world, professional work experience and the opportunity to be a valued contributor! From day one you’ll be working side-by-side with your mentor and manger on project-based work that enables you to apply the knowledge and skills you are learning through college courses. And we’re not talking about “busy work” here; this is about gaining valuable hands-on experience that is critical to our success. You’ll do real work, earn real pay and have a ton of fun while doing it!

Intern Duties and Responsibilities

•Work with Servicing, Reverse and Xome to capture the “as is” process of incentive compensation •Design and document a “to be” workflow for incentive compensation

For the Summer Project the intern will focus on capturing and documenting as is processes around how incentive compensation is managed for various business units. These processes are very manual and spreadsheet/e-mail driven. The objective of the “as is” capture is to use it as a foundation to design a “to be” process that is highly automated.

This assignment will involve talking to and coordinating with many people.   Also an opportunity to be involved in the design of the “to be” process that involves modern technologies that are in-demand including Cloud, Azure and Talend.    

3. Personally I enjoy mentoring and will ensure that the intern has a positive experience and leaves with a valuable skillset

Intern Qualifications & Ability

  • A high school diploma or state accepted equivalency is required.
  • Currently a junior or senior in college with an expected graduation date in 2019 - 2021
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks and projects concurrently to meet deadlines
  • Demonstration of leadership and working within a group or team environment a plus
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
