Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and monitor staff, setting priorities and controls workflow.  Ensures timely and accurate completion of Claims.  Provides guidance to staff; proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and monitor time frames and work performance.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure proper coordination for loss assignment and reduction.
  • Ensure department policies and procedures are maintained and timely updates are submitted.  Continually review and refine processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all Investor and Insurer guidelines, Company Policies and Procedures and ensure proper quality controls are in place to protect the company.
  • Provide positive leadership and coaching, including performance measurements, appraisals and other actions impacting employee job related functions.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • 2+  years of recent residential mortgage servicing experience as a team manager/supervisor
  • 5 + years of claims experience
