Description:  Mr. Cooper is seeking a learning, development and training expert that is passionate about helping guide talent development.  This person is a specialist in the design and implementation of knowledge transfer across system-wide change programs.   The position will oversee the training evaluation processes and tools to measure program results at learning, behavior change, and business impacts.  S/he will also perform ongoing internal and external research and benchmarking to identify and implement best practices in learning, development and training.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify learning and training needs in a highly dynamic work environment
  • Design learning approaches for organization transformation and individual programs based on needs
  • Develop program content and methodology, including instructional material in various learning formats (e.g. classroom, virtual, on-demand)
  • Collaborate with relevant business functions, PMO leaders and subject matter experts to deliver valuable  knowledge transformation and training content
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate learning and training programs with internal and external resources
  • Lead learning and training program implementation planning, including PMO integration, scheduling, location sourcing, and program logistics

Required Skills:

  • Strong instructional design capability, including needs assessment, program design and development, and evaluation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and classroom instruction, and train-the-trainer skills. Group facilitation experience a plus
  • Strong executive presence and relationship development skills including negotiation and influence
  • Exposure to non-training learning methods (e.g., executive coaching)
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with others to produce results
  • Ability to understand and direct learning across large scale training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Experience influencing stakeholder engagement
  • Intermediate level project management skills
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in leadership, I/O psychology, communications, organizational development, human resources, or a similar field preferred
  • 5-8  years of progressive experience in training delivery, talent management, or OD, plus in financial services or mortgage related field
  • Experience designing and building leadership development initiatives from the ground up. Preference to those in large scale change, project management and organization transformation
  • Certification as a CPLP, SHRM-CP, LDCP, or similar professional training or HR certification a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically (approx. 10%)
