Analyze, research, and resolved intricate document and land records issues impeding servicing and compliance with regulatory governance.  Partners in those roles include Management across all Lines of Business, Attorney Firms, In-house Legal Counsel, Custodians and Investors.

Scope/Responsibilities: Solid knowledge of required job skills, company policies and procedures. Proven ability to apply knowledge to a variety of work assignments ranging in difficulty. Knowledge of mortgage industry practices, procedures and processes. Possesses ability to work with department deadlines. Establishes effective professional rapport with both internal & external customers. Effectively manages time, priorities and resources to achieve goals.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze, research and resolve documentation issues.
  • Root cause analysis and forward resolution mitigating repetitive efforts.
  • Act as SME on all acquisitions, deals, and trust collapse efforts
  • Run and analyze reports reflecting pipeline efforts and needs.
  • Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Successful implementation of projects and process improvements according to established timelines and strategic direction of the company.
  • Assist Management with day to day processes such as assigning the loans out to different representatives.
  • Train and mentor new employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Education & Professional Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related work experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Some college and/or mortgage experience a plus. One year customer service experience required. Final Documentation, Chain of Title, EntityChain experience preferred.
  • Leadership/Hierarchy:  Operates effectively under general supervision on routine assignments; receives instructions on new assignments.
  • Level of Decision Making: Semi-routine work assignments that sometimes vary outside of established routine. Takes ownership of problems and determines a solution.
  • Individual/Customer Impact: Decisions and actions have impact on success of team or department. Scope of work occasionally impacts assigned business area and/or its processes; ability to demonstrate positive impact on customer experience.
  • Communication: Proficient in verbal and written form as appropriate for varying audiences; ability to prepare clear written correspondence.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate intermediate computer and software skills necessary for job function. Exposure to mortgage-specific software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
