Mr Cooper, formerly Nationstar Mortgage is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Talent Acquisition department.  The AVP, Talent Acquisition, Special Projects will be responsible for leading the recruiting function of a designated, enterprise wide project.  This multi-year project will transform the way the organization services our customers.  The ideal candidate will have direct experience leading a recruiting project that is designed to drive transformation while focusing on change management.        This position reports directly to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with functional and project business leaders to identify requirements for external recruiting
  • Creates and deploys IT recruiting plans while measuring results, ROI and business leader satisfaction
  • Manages the recruiting function for assigned project and all steps associated with sourcing and delivering qualified, diverse candidates
  • Leads, Mentors and develops a small team of recruiters located in multiple geographic locations
  • Aligns project recruiting strategies with other channel talent acquisition strategies and plans
  • Organizes, analyzes and develops monthly metrics and implements action plans based on metric results
  • Works with business and HR partners to anticipate workforce changes and influence the timing of hiring needs to support the channel’s objectives
  • Share knowledge about global recruiting trends and best practices across the  TA organization and continuously develop and enhance personal and team capabilities.

  • Proven success driving strategic recruiting initiatives designed to transform an organization
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic organization that is focusing on an enterprise change management initiative
  • Strong business acumen while driving results and aligning with the business strategy
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of managers and team members
  • 7+ years managing a Talent Acquisition team
  • A high school diploma or state accepted equivalency is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (or equivalent in education and experience)
  • Unquestionable knowledge of recruitment best practices and methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
