  • Prepare mortgage loan “Purchase” and “Refinance” files for closing by clearing title which in general includes, ordering payoffs, obtaining proof of payoff/releases for prior liens, ordering HOA/Condo/Municipal lien certificates.etc.
  • Reviews and verifies the accuracy and consistency of documents necessary for signing.
  • Assemble documents in files for delivery to closing agents.
  • Prepare, review and approve the HUD-1, CD, ALTA Settlement Statement that will be utilized for closing.
  • Validate all documents are complete and accurate prior to funding, including ensuring that all documents requiring borrower signatures are in order.
  • Ensure the file is balanced and appropriately set up for disbursement.
  • Responsible for handling non-public information (NPI) about borrowers, and protect the confidentiality of borrower information.
  • Handle basic questions from signing/closing agents, mortgage professionals, sellers and borrowers.
  • May perform administrative duties such as faxing, photocopying, filing and phone support as requested by Leadership.


  • Minimum of 1 year mortgage loan processing or closing experience. Additional experience is a plus.
  • High School diploma or state accepted equivalent required
  • Must have experience with purchase transactions.
  • National experience would be a plus.
  • Solid computer skills required. Experience with word processing is preferred
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
