Job Description Summary

This role will support IT Infrastructure department of Mr. Cooper and Xome Labs with various business administrative and support tasks including financial and business analysis, reporting, process improvement, and IT compliance.

Position is a new role within the organization and will have the ability to make a large impact in the business of IT for both Mr. Cooper and Xome Labs. By appropriately documenting and reporting key IT related financial data, the candidate will be able to leverage totals to negotiate more favorable product packages and/or identify efficiencies for future product use.

Job Description

  • Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
  • Prepare financial models for annual and quarterly forecasting
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for cost transparency to other business units
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Assist with process/procedure documentation and training wherever needed
  • Research and understand current IT Infrastructure processes and assist with improving current and future process flows for efficiency
  • Miscellaneous business analysis tasks such as information/requirements gathering for process improvement
  • IT Compliance including document gathering, client questionnaire completion, policy updating, process review and updating, and ongoing control management

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance/Accounting, Business Analysis or other related field
  • Experience in financial reporting and modeling, business analysis, process modeling and improvement in a corporate environment
  • Experience working in/with an IT department. Job requires the ability to understand complex IT related terminology
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically MS Excel and MS Word
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Experience building data/process flows to demonstrate current and future states
  • Experience working with the corporate financial reporting process
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with executive level management
  • Ability to switch from complex to routine tasks when required
  • Experience creating financial reports including the ability to manipulate datasets from various sources
