This position will assist with legal and administrative support by overseeing processes and workflow of legal documents, intake, review, drafting, and post-execution administration of all assigned matters.


  • Provide oversight to the outside Counsel working the escalated cases
  • Conduct fact finding through routine inquiries and reviews. Review responses and records as needed.
  • Review incoming materials and determines appropriate legal team to work case
  • Monitor progress of pending cases and initiates action to insure legal pleadings, forms, reports, correspondence and other documents are prepared and submitted within established timelines.
  • Monitor and track vendor performance
  • Handle escalated matters from vendors as needed
  • Ensures ongoing contact with outside Counsel to retrieve additional information, legal documents or other pertinent data as required
  • Respond to calls furnishing requested information concerning pending, close matters, cases and general office procedures
  • Participate in special administrative and legal research projects as requested
  • Develop process improvements for departmental necessary changes
  • Assist in the coordination of vendor relationships and servicing development

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Paralegal certification preferred, but not required
  • Mortgage lending and/or banking finance industry experience preferred
  • Mortgage Servicing experience working with Litigation cases
  • Minimum of 5+ years of banking finance industry experience or relevant legal experience (i.e. Paralegal, Attorney, Corporate Witness)
  • Minimum of one year Foreclosure experience
