Your team. The Home Advisor team is a new program pushing the boundaries of mortgage industry and challenging the way our company thinks and behaves. This team bridges both Originations and Servicing in pursuit of finding new ways to truly understand our customers, provide exceptional service, and connect relevant product solutions to deliver additional benefit to our customers.

Role Overview

Service & Sales. This role is responsible for diligently and empathetically servicing select customers and originating mortgage products through educational, needs-based selling across a range of products.

Team Learning & Culture: This role makes Mr. Cooper more customer-centric by innovating from the front lines. Team members will continually iterate to improve our processes and quality, while strengthening our understanding of customers to build deeper relationships. Team members share knowledge, raise ideas and support peers.

A day in the life…

No day will be the same, but some key responsibilities include:

  • Field and evaluate customer service questions; compare solutions to determine recommendations that best meet customers’ needs and circumstances; perform follow-up to ensure resolution (typically taking 12 to 15 inbound calls per day)
  • Establish rapport with customers and actively listen to understand their immediate and latent needs, motivations, and contexts; properly document customer interactions and capture both personal and financial insights to lay the groundwork for more personalized future interactions
  • Smart selling: Coach and educate customers as needed; provide information on products and services that would benefit the customer, support an informed decision-making process tailored to the customer’s needs and preferences
  • Manage pipeline of potential customers at various stages of the refinancing journey; responsible for business development and relationship management
  • Document learnings and regularly share back with team and leaders; actively contribute to team initiatives and shared goals; support teammates through peer mentorship and feedback

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience and Qualifications:

- Demonstrated growth in a past role that challenged you to learn new behaviors and or acquire new skills

2 years experience in financial services

Commitment to attain MLS License ( Mr. Cooper provides paid training time and exam costs)

High school Diploma or equivalent - Degree preferred

* Ability to clear a credit and criminal background check
