JOB SUMMARY

The Investor Services Analyst is responsible for researching and identifying issues pertaining to Investor Reporting, Accounting, Acquisitions, Modifications, Claims, and other associated business functional areas. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to effectively identify, recommend, and execute process improvement opportunities. This role will involve communicating to various career levels of peers and superiors. This candidate will work both independently and with a team, multi-task and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment that promotes individual and company growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Communicate effectively with management, internal/external customers, including other associated business partners
  • Create and present reports and provide timely updates for projects and routine tasks.
  • Research and analyze cash/non-cash transactions for outages in custodial accounts, GLs, and other applicable sources of record
  • Continuously review processes and procedures and recommend new ones to management and other departments within the company to improve productivity and quality.
  • Prepare and submit account balance adjustments, cash wires and GL entries as needed.
  • Run Access and/or SQL queries and perform complex Excel functions to analyze data.
  • Manage special projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 or more years experience in Investor Reporting or Bank Reconciliations in Mortgage Banking or with college level credit hours in Accounting or a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Knowledge of bank reconciliation process for test of expected cash, pool to security balancing, and clearing account balancing.
  • Knowledge of agency forms for custodial reconciliations
  • 2 or more years of Investor Reporting and Bank Reconciliation Experience or related industry experience
  • Other experience would include LSAM’s system, Lewtan ABS, Microsoft Excel/Access/Word/Powerpoint, and Monarch.
