Job Description:

The Lead Application Developer will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing n-tier, Web and Client/Server applications. The Lead Developer will be working very closely with the internal business partners, project managers and external vendors collecting requirements and implementing projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform and participate in design and code reviews
  • Take ownership of initial code quality including unit testing
  • Provide technical support to internal customers
  • Be responsible for the health and maintainability of our codebase
  • Monitor and maintain/enhance the ongoing performance of systems
  • Provide technical mentoring to other team members

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a closely related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 5 years of progressively responsible experience or a Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a closely related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 2 years of experience.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer / programmer analyst in depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework and related technologies.
  • Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Experience with the Mortgage Industry or Financial Applications preferred.
  • Experience with Mortgage Investor Reporting applications preferred.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP) and Design Patterns.
  • At least 5 years of .NET development experience (C#.NET, WPF, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, MVVM, MVC)
  • Database Development experience preferred with SQL Server 2008/2010 (Stored Procedures, triggers)
  • Experience implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) a plus.
  • Utilization of JavaScript, ASP, ASP.net, HTML 5, AngularJS, XML, XSD, XSL, AJAX, JQuery
  • Experience with classic ASP and Classic VB, COM/DCOM applications a plus.
  • Experience with Windows workflow foundation is a plus.
  • Exposure to TFS, VSS
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile Methodology a plus.
