The Product team at Mr Cooper is at the forefront of this effort, creating user-friendly digital solutions for the millions of homeowners Mr. Cooper serves—whether it is via our website, mobile app, or exciting new innovations on the horizon. We’re powered by an Agile work process, building products that make homeowners’ lives easier and keep our business strong. 

We are looking for Product Business Analysts that can help accelerate our digital transformation. This is an individual contribution position.  This person will work with product manager(s) to define epics and user stories as we build out digital products as part of our transformation journey 

Prior experience working with servicing operations, originations, marketing and support functions is a plus 

Here are some specifics about the day-day activities in the role: 

  • Work with Product Managers, SMEs and Stakeholders across all phases of product initiation, elaboration and execution in a fast paced Agile and Digital environment! 

  • Work with results from Discovery sessions to build out the product plan, backlog and iteration plans. Understands customer journeys and customer pain points to build out solutions that simplify experiences and eliminate pain points 

  • Document vision, scope and manage product delivery in an iterative manner 

  • Comfortable digging into operations and processes to tease out the user experience for both internal and external customers 

  • Managing and contributing to roadmap definition and execution 

  • Work with content and User experience design teams to define UX stories 

  • Ability to effectively translate internal operational support requirements, mapping them to relevant customer journeys and deliver exceptional digital experiences 

  • Performs other duties as assigned/needed as outlined by management

  • You are curious, driven and have proven experience collaborating with product managers in a cross functional setting to define requirements 

  • You are comfortable dealing with across the various levels in an organization – i.e. comfortable working with senior leaders to gain clarity with requirements and collaborating with dev teams to break it down into user stories 

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment. Our PMs, devs, engineers, designers, and content team all share an energetic open workspace. You’ll pair with all of them.  

  • You are comfortable with imperfect information. You embrace the process of working incrementally and iteratively to define, own and deliver an awesome product. 

  • You hold the key to ensuring that all of the requirements/user stories have been built with acceptance criteria that will deliver the product to hold true to the vision 

  • You are comfortable working in a (highly) regulated industry and are prepared to do the necessary work to meet legal and compliance requirements without compromising customer experience.   

  • You follow through all agile ceremonies and keep iterations and development on track 

  • You are able to prioritize work and effectively manage to deadlines.

Required Skills / Experience 

  • At least 3-5 years of working with teams and product managers defining requirements and delivery in an Agile/XP  environment. 

  • Working knowledge of APIs and Microservices 

  • Intermediate skills in SQL and other database applications  

  • Work with data schemas to help define/refine data requests and responses as needed  

  • Experience with web-based/mobile products in the consumer space preferred 

  • Skilled at defining and prioritizing product features 

  • Ability to lead and communicate across cross-functional teams 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making 

  • Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, clients and operations
