ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Complete periodic testing plans related to Loss Analysis identified break points
  • Prepare reporting to summarize test results, ratings, and/or process patterns and practices
  • Evaluate new processes for loss risk exposure
  • Analyze and report deficiencies, defects, and performance gaps
  • Provide guidance or technical supervision to less experienced staff, as required
  • Identify opportunities for conversion of testing from manual to leverage automation
  • Responsible for recording capturing, analyzing and storing visual evidence related evaluation criteria
  • Learn the platform & eventually become a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of: Loan Servicing & Accounting Management System (LSAMS), Core Logic, Lereta, Asurint, LPS Desktop, LPS Invoice Management, VALERI, YARDI/P260, HomeTracker, VendorScape, ETC
  • Support in researching root cause analysis on observed operational breaks
  • Communicate results of reviews to internal business partners
  • Prepare reports and presentations for use by department management and business leaders
  • Executes special projects, as required.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and execute on multiple workstreams across diverse subject areas


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree with major course work in a discipline related to position requirements preferred
  • Equivalent job experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job may be considered
  • 2-5 years of experience working with servicing, operational risk, or compliance within the mortgage industry
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to operate independently and self-manage workload to ensure required testing volume is achieved
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) preferred, not required
