This role will be reconciling recording fees collected at closing to title company disbursement ledger and will work various title companies to collect various documentation


  • Timely and accurate reconciling of recording fees
  • Balance the activity in access database to prove out fees collected, disbursed, and how overage was cured
  • Continuously reviews processes and procedures and aggressively recommends new ones to management and other departments within the company to improve the quality
  • Strict adherence to MRC policy and practices for the reconciliation of recording fees
  • Includes clearing reconciling items within the MRC stated guidelines based on point of origin
  • Other duties, running queries, and special projects as assigned


  • Competent with Microsoft software (Excel/ Access)
  • Ability to decipher Title Company disbursement ledgers in order to reconcile recording fees
  • Ability to reconcile disbursement ledger to the Closing Disclosure when the two documents do to match/balance. 


  • 2-3 or more years’ experience in Bank Reconciliations or with college level credit hours in Accounting or a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • 3 or more years of Reconciliation/Accounting Experience or related industry experience


Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed; may require walking, primarily on a level surface, throughout the day;  reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials; proper lifting techniques required; may include lifting up to 25 pounds for files or paper.
