  • Review vendor strategy and processes to ensure that vendor meets service level requirements.
  • Report to Management any opportunities for improvement needed in all areas that the vendor is responsible.
  • Continually provide reporting and recommendations to update process with evolving business needs.
  • Identify, develop, prepare, and review with management appropriate weekly/monthly vendor unit cost analytics reporting.
  • Assist in the development of a vendor performance management framework (Scorecard) to drive vendor/client alignment and promote desired behaviors.
  • Conduct process improvement projects to improve vendor performance.
  • Partner with REO Manager to develop and manage key vendor performance metrics.
  • Assist manager in partnering with Risk/Compliance to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are embedded within Vendor Management, business, and vendor processes.
  • Proactively identify, track, and analyze key financial and non-financial business metrics, including ongoing vendor expense savings opportunities; with the goal of contributing to business decisions and driving operational results.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Champion Mortgage’s REO business model, and business processes; recommend and drive best practice adoption.
  • Serve as point of escalation for issues related to vendor performance.
  • Assist Manager in the review of results of Quality Assurance/Audit findings and develop/execute action plans.


  • The position requires an individual who can work within a team in a highly demanding environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint (or similar), spreadsheet expert (Excel), at ease with process mapping (Visio or similar), and competency with developing presentations (PowerPoint).  Familiarity with database software (Access or similar) and/or ability to develop SQL queries a plus. Highly regarded for teamwork, flexibility, integrity, ethics, professionalism, and communication skills (written and oral).

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of real estate industry, including documentation, law, and terminology. 
  • Prior Experience in REO as an Asset Manager
