As a Reporting Analyst, your responsibilities will include daily operational and regulatory reporting.  Creating and delivering ad-hoc reports as needed, as well as prepare, update and maintain daily, weekly, monthly reporting. Co-ordinate with technical development and various business functional groups within the organization and focus on ongoing process improvements and initiatives.

Success in this role involves using strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as your knowledge of mortgage servicing to correct, create, validate reports.  You will use data mining skills to run SQL logical tests on specified data to find correlations/ discrepancies and propose changes/alternate solutions as well as provide reporting as needed.


  • Use knowledge of  mortgage servicing data and servicing system (LSAMS, LPS etc) to validate data
  • Use understanding of SQL programming language to query system databases
  • Work with Line of Business to understand reporting needs and create reports using SQL query within the servicing systems
  • Prioritize and handle multiple projects
  • Utilize knowledge of SQL , Excel, Power Point and other optimization methods to perform data analysis and reporting
  • Conduct validation of data points and testing of reporting solutions
  • Prioritize and develop and deliver urgent reporting as needed for senior management
  • Maintain confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum  2 to 5 years related experience in Reporting or Mortgage related field
  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Knowledge in SQL scripts
  • Good communication skills to work with business leadership
  • Planning , Organizing and Multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
  • Ability to handle dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years related experience in Reporting or  other mortgage related field
  • Knowledge of LSAMS ( or other mortgage servicing platforms ,Fiserv, Fidelity LPS)
  • Strong data manipulation skills in Excel and Power Point. (lookups, Pivot tables, IF statements, Aggregate functions, graphs, charts)
  • Strong programming skills in SQL Server
