The Reporting Analyst for this role is responsible for Legal/Litigation Management and financial tracking, analytics and reporting.

Essential Job Functions

  Legal/Litigation Management

  • Enforce governance and provide oversight over automation reporting and controls across Legal/Litigation in everyday operations and how it affects other lines of business
  • Identify, assess and monitor risks relating to the operational processes and their respective financial impact on the company
  • Build/oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the business and provide meaningful reporting around how the business is performing
  • Support business partners in Enterprise Risk Management, Servicing, Default Servicing at Executive and Board level through reporting and analysis
  • Direct line of communication with vendors and staff to discuss issues or concerns through data analysis

Performance Management

  • Enforce governance regarding financial contracts and provide reporting and analytics on financial data
  • Evaluating and monitoring financial invoice model for conceptual soundness and performance
  • Assess financial impact and associated risks of the financial invoice model
  • Track invoice model remediation activities and report status to management on financial savings/loss
  • Build and maintain scorecard modeling for staff and vendor performance

Reporting & Analytics

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to evaluate key drivers of process gaps for the business as it relates to Company and legal/litigation
  • Build SQL queries and reporting
  • Build out stored procedures for automation through SSIS and SSRS in Microsoft SQL Server 2012

Education/Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related discipline (Master's preferred) or minimum of 7 year experience in analytics and reporting in financial and mortgage industries
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills and delivering with confidence
  • Proficiency with Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Advanced level in Excel
  • Advanced experience with data extraction and analysis (SQL Queries)
