Intern Job Summary

The Mr. Cooper 12 week long Summer Internship Program provides real-world, professional work experience and the opportunity to be a valued contributor! From day one you’ll be working side-by-side with your mentor and manger on project-based work that enables you to apply the knowledge and skills you are learning through college courses. And we’re not talking about “busy work” here; this is about gaining valuable hands-on experience that is critical to our success. You’ll do real work, earn real pay and have a ton of fun while doing it!

Intern Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, edit and schedule social media content for Mr. Cooper’s primary social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram•Work with internal creative agency to create social media assets on-time and to the highest quality•Traffic social media content through legal and compliance approval process•Assist in analyzing social media efforts and developing monthly reports•Showcase our culture, environment, work and opportunities via social media channels•Passion for social media, content creation, project management abilities and strategic mindset

 
For the Summer project the intern will work closely with internal teams to elevate and grow Mr. Cooper’s employment branding efforts. In this role, you will take a quantitative approach to develop engaging content, report on successes and areas for opportunity. The primary objective will be to craft engaging content and evaluate employment brand performance.

•Engage with candidates and team members through career social media channels by launching creative campaigns•Track content performance against goals to determine how to optimize future content roadmaps•Identify and evaluate new opportunities to engage with candidates

Intern Qualifications & Ability

  • A high school diploma or state accepted equivalency is required.
  • Currently a junior or senior in college with an expected graduation date in 2019 - 2021
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks and projects concurrently to meet deadlines
  • Demonstration of leadership and working within a group or team environment a plus
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
