Job Description:

The SDET Engineer will be Responsible for test design, test data creation and automation design for UI and Backend applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for test design, test data creation and automation design for UI and Backend applications
  •  Responsible for creating and maintaining automation scripts
  • Responsible for sending reports and analysis on the automation results
  • Responsible to file bugs identified by automation scripts and track bugs to the closure.
  • Responsible for writing E2E automation scripts for integration applications
  • Responsible for driving test analysis through test suite code coverage
  •  Responsible for performing root cause analysis for bugs and improve coverage based on the outcome
  •  Responsible to participate in requirement analysis and plan for automation test strategy for the features

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of automation and testing experience
  • Knowledge of Python/Perl Scripting or any scripting language
  •  Good problem solving and coding skills
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions in automation
  • Experience in writing automation scripts to test REST API and UI
  • Experience in Javascript/Jquery Preferred
  • Experience in writing load and performance test scripts is a plus (Microsoft Coded UI, Load Runner or JMeter)
  •  Good knowledge of Internet/Web Technologies
  • Excellent coding skills in Python 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good in database queries
  • Experience in test automation and test strategy design
  • Self motivated, goal oriented and willing to work as a team to meet the team and individual goals on time
