  • Translates business needs into Mr. Cooper’s talent management strategy and establish the talent agenda for the business
  • Identify and understand leading edge talent management trends as well as the future of work design and measurement of human performance to guide internal improvements that will help inform and accelerate the business agenda
  • Strengthen our existing performance and talent management framework and infuse leadership competencies to develop new ways to better assess, motivate, develop and retain team members
  • Design and continually implement a program to enable employee performance, including tools to ensure employee know what to work on and how they are doing
  • Create a measurement strategy to evaluate the effectiveness of global talent and succession processes and guide continuous improvement
  • Lead and manage the annual cadence of talent and performance management processes to include talent assessment, performance milestones including goal setting, mid-year, year-end, succession models, high potential talent identification, critical roles assessment, etc.
  • Empower people leaders and team members with the tools they need to be successful in a performance driven culture & drive adoption of tools across the enterprise and continuously refine tool design so they are further embedded into the natural flow of work
  • Partner with HRBPs and key stakeholders to manage tools, processes and communications involved in the design, preparation and delivery of performance and talent management for people leaders and team members
  • Drive talent discussions and high value talent moves by operationalizing the talent review, succession planning and talent sharing processes
  • Use data to generate organization and people insights which in turn influence areas of focus, actions and decisions (pulse surveys, polls, diversity, hires, retention, attrition, internal & external trends, etc.)
  • Gather data and conduct talent assessments and reviews to identify, develop and retain high potential leaders and team members across Mr. Cooper, as well as build succession plans
  • Assess current state of the leadership pipeline and executive capability
  • Partner with HRBPS and Sr. Principal OD & Leadership Development to design and develop training plans to reinforce talent and performance management practices
  • Partner with corporate marketing to create effective applicable communication plans


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years work experience in related field (Talent Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, High Potential Pipeline development)
  • A strong assessor of talent – understands how to attract & retain world class talent and bring out the best potential while enhancing capability
  • High degree of personal and professional credibility, including responsiveness, business focus, integrity, sound judgment, and ability to prioritize effectively across competing priorities
  • Effective project management skills and/or PMP certified
  • Outstanding verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Strategic, enterprise-wide and critical thinking with ability to see and use data decisions to make effective judgements
  • Organizational astuteness and agility with excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Good coordination, analytical and deductive reasoning skills
  • Experience with talent and performance management platforms and HR data analytics, i.e. Workday, SuccessFactors
  • Expert knowledge and proficiency in Excel to manage and assess workforce analytics as well proven experience in creating influential executive leadership Power Point presentations


  • Demonstrated success in building and implementing high quality development strategies and solutions, working across organizational boundaries, where needed
  • Experience consulting on large scale, strategic talent initiatives requiring extreme analytical and detailed project management skills
  • Strong understanding of HR and business practices; who understands what practices are unique differentiators vs. standard and what strategic purpose they serve in a company, as well as how to measure their success.
  • Master’s Degree in HR Management, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Leadership or related study
