JOB SUMMARY The GRC Archer / .Net developer is primarily responsible for developing new / maintaining existing n-tier, Web and Client/Server applications. The developer will be working as part of the Risk & Compliance (CLRQ) development group in a team environment to develop/support CLRQ projects. This position performs highly complex analysis and design and must have a good understanding of the methodologies used in requirements gathering, usability testing, and documentation. In addition, this position will work directly with the business line to develop business and technical requirements for the CLRQ systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for designing, integration, developing and supporting configuration web-based workflow applications and related backend systems as needed to support the NSM CLRQ applications. Provide application architectural solutions and resolve complicated application issues including performance tuning. Provide CLRQ operational support, including troubleshooting issues, and report and data request support. This person will serve as a Senior Configuration Developer for application development of new applications or enhancements to existing applications. Responsible for the analysis and maintenance of applications, as well as the design, development and implementation of new applications. Work with business analysts, project managers, and key users to further define specifications, indicate areas of system impact, and continuous communication of project status and needs. Drive Information Security Archer platform development requests, from design configuration, system development, through service implementation and application usability in order to scale and adapt to future requirements. Support prioritization of Archer production and development activities, including level of effort estimates, identifying dependencies, and maintaining schedule of enhancements. Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job. List any special certifications, licenses, and/or knowledge requirements for this job: CISA – Certified Information System Auditor – Preferred Archer platform experience – 6.x - Preferred Experience with the Mortgage Industry or Financial Applications preferred. Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP) and Design Patterns. .NET development (C#.NET, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, ASP.NET) .NET Web Services, WCF, REST Database Development experience. Preferred SQL Server 2008/2012 (Stored Procedures, triggers, DTS etc) Experience implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) a plus. Utilization of JavaScript, ASP, ASP.net, HTML 5, AngularJS, XML, XSD, XSL, JQuery Exposure to TFS, VSS Experience with Scrum and Agile Methodology a plus. Experience working with SQL and XML technologies is highly desirable. Prior experience with relational databases (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle) How many years of directly related job experience are required to be qualified to enter the job? Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job. A minimum of 7 years’ experience, with background in C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. 5 years of professional experience as a software developer / programmer analyst in depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework and related technologies. GRC expertise and skill in assessing vulnerabilities and instituting technology controls in an enterprise environment.
