  • Responsible for creating test cases for all current sprint stories/bugs as well as features, from acceptance criteria written by BSAs.  This would include identifying correct test environment, identifying status of assets needed to test, detailed steps to test and expected results of tests for user to understand and see the new feature or bug fix was successfully installed in test environment.
  • Responsible for coordinating UAT sessions to occur after QA signoff.
  • Responsible for recording demonstrations of sprint items for user release notes
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining post production validation processes
  • Test execution will include user acceptance, functional, regression and usability tests 
  • Coordinate with broader QA team to plan and utilize automated testing tool for test data preparation
  • Support in researching root cause analysis on production issues
  • Drive UAT defects management till closure status based on priority and severity
  • Carefully prepare for meetings and presentations; follow up with others to ensure that tasks or commitments have been fulfilled
  • Assist with training where applicable to prepare users for the changes implemented pre or post- release

Essential Qualifications / Training / Experience

  • A further education qualification on related discipline or demonstrable relevant practical experience
  • Ability to independently schedule UAT tasks
  • Strong analysis, evaluation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand application workflows and test process
  • Good understanding of the process of SDLC and cross-departmental co-operation/collaboration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience of testing SDLC end-to-end systems
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence
  • Experience in real estate/default mortgage servicing is required
