The Vendor Oversight Specialist is responsible for the relationships with the various business vendors of the company. Ensures Service Level Agreements are in place, are being tracked/measured against, and are being met by those vendors.


  • Chair monthly meetings with Vendor and Business, take minutes and send out take aways.
  • Ensure Vendor Scorecards are completed timely and accurately.
  • Monitor report Vendor Spend through invoices and forecasted monthly budget (estimated vs actual).
  • Identify SOWs/Contract coming up for renewal within 90 days, work with Business and Procurement to update and negotiate new terms if warranted.
  • Responsible for managing, documenting, communicating and championing any new process change on Vendor side or MRC side.
  • Field questions from the Vendor and from MRC to allow the business to focus on production.
  • Initiate SOW/Contract Amendments once any new terms are agreed upon.
  • Manage VRAPs, IA, FLOD and 3rd Party Findings of related Vendor to resolution. Including complaints made to a vendor or received about a vendor based on a service they provide on MRC’s behalf.
  • Monitor Vendors in Pending Set Up status and work with Procurement to complete set up.
  • Create and maintain monthly, quarterly, Vendor Performance trending MBR (performance vs expectation) to present to the Business. (with assistance)
  • Provide support as needed for creating and sending vendor communications and scorecards on behalf of the company and the business units utilizing the vendor services.
  • Develop and manage various projects related to the vendor management activities.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.   Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to multi-task and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Basic knowledge of PC’s and related software such as Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential material
  • Minimum of 2 years of default servicing or vendor oversight experience.
